Debra Harms has had over 30 years experience working as a speech-language pathologist. She has worked in the schools, in adult rehab, taught at the college level, and worked in early intervention. She has gone to American Samoa several times a year to work for the Helping Hands Early Intervention program. She has also served on the board for the California Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is currently teaching in a preschool communication class for San Juan Unified School district.
She loves swimming, traveling, and spending time with her new granddaughter.
